Sawdust firing looks as good as it smells!
Who doesn't love a good campfire? That's what the smell of a sawdust fire reminds me of. But what I really love is the patina that comes from it. Rich earthy blacks, browns golds and what ever clay body base color you start with. When it's all done I clean it up, bake it in the oven at 200 degrees and seal it with wax. There isn't a single step in the sawdust fire process that I don't relish. No other process is so close to nature. Picture progression; 1) Original white clay
