
Rejection
Not always easy but you have to put yourself out there. I got my first "Rejection email." I am going to be a part of 5 different venues for selling my work so far. I applied to at least one a month through December. It's not as though I don't have anything in the works, but rejection bites. What can I say. I have excuses... poor documentation, hurried sloppy application... oh well, forward and onward. I found a weekly venue nearby. I think it may be a good fit. Low cost and a


I photographed some of my pottery today...
I did it. It occurred to me the lighting outside would do well for documenting my work. I shot inside several times and was not happy with the results. They were either blurry, dark or too shiny. Today all the boxes came back upstairs, outside, and were unpacked, again. I used the fence for a back drop. Jim helped me unpack and repack half way into the job and saved a lot of time and grumbling. I imagine if I had a camera that I did not have to hold the battery compartment cl

Begin. It seems I have been beginning this blog and website many times over. Is this it? Is this the one? This is the part of self-employment I find disenchanting. If I could get some one to do all the computer work for me I would. I know you can hire people, but that's not in my budget. I am not going to take out any loans. What I make from selling my art goes right back into the business. Really... I shouldn't complain. I am old enough to remember when there was no internet
