International Female Ride Day, May 6
Took my first solo ride the first weekend in May. It was an experience to remember. I put 736 miles on my bike. 566 of them were on Saturday. I met up with 20 other women at the Faribault H-D shop. We rode from there to a steak house in WI. It was a ride to remember. I rode with women who had 20 to 30 years riding experience. I had no idea. Most of the women rode the newer bike with a faring. My girl, Aine Vent is 2nd from the left in the picture. I love her so. We kept up with the big dogs all weekend. Let me tell you , those ladies kept us on our toes. There are a lot of twists and turns through the Minnesota Wisconsin countryside. I had to let go of the fear of blind curves. It was good to do it. I need to get over the wreck and put some success under my jacket. Thanks Spirit of the Universe, thanks Jim.
Oh yeah, The Faribault H-D is owned by a women! Family business. Too cool. Very nice lady. If you are in the market for a new bike that's the place to go. There or Doc's in WI. He's pretty cool too. I'll be going to Ann though.
